Dazu geh\u00f6rt auch, Medien zu verstehen und mit Bedacht zu gestalten sowie innezuhalten und zu reflektieren, bevor man auf erhaltene Informationen reagiert. So hilft Medienkompetenz dem Einzelnen, sich gegen polarisierende Inhalte zu sch\u00fctzen, und ermutigt ihn, neugierig auf die Interaktion mit einer Vielzahl von Menschen und Perspektiven zu sein.
