Belgien hat drei Amtssprachen (Niederl\u00e4ndisch, Franz\u00f6sisch und Deutsch) und drei Regionen (Flandern, Wallonien und Br\u00fcssel-Hauptstadt), die sich teilweise \u00fcberschneiden.<\/li>\n<li>Einerseits ist diese doppelte Fragmentierung in Kombination mit schwachen f\u00f6deralen Institutionen die Quelle zahlreicher politischer und gemeinschaftlicher Spannungen im Land. Dar\u00fcber hinaus sind die Informations\u00f6kosysteme der lokalen Gemeinschaften eng mit Nachbarl\u00e4ndern wie Frankreich im franz\u00f6sischsprachigen Teil und den Niederlanden im Fall Flanderns verbunden.<\/li>\n<li>Andererseits ist Br\u00fcssel der Sitz der Europ\u00e4ischen Kommission und beherbergt einen Sitz des Europ\u00e4ischen Parlaments, des Europ\u00e4ischen Rates und des NATO-Hauptquartiers.
