Juni ver\u00f6ffentlichte CheckFirst <a href=\"https:\/\/checkfirst.network\/facebook-hustles-the-hidden-mechanics-of-a-scam-machinery-impersonating-news-organisations-and-creators\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ihre neueste Untersuchung<\/a><\/span>, in der ein massiver Betrug mit \u00fcber 1500 Facebook-Anzeigen aufgedeckt wurde. Diese Anzeigen lockten Nutzer auf mehr als 160 Domains, die gef\u00e4lschte Medien-Websites hosteten. Die Websites leiteten die Besucher zu einem Formular weiter, das vorgab, pers\u00f6nliche Informationen zur Teilnahme an einer fiktiven Investmentplattform zu sammeln. Die Betr\u00fcger nutzten soziale Manipulationstechniken, um die Kontrolle \u00fcber Hunderte von Facebook-Seiten von Content-Erstellern zu erlangen, die insgesamt mehr als 10 Millionen Nutzer erreichten.<\/p>\n<p>Diese Untersuchung basiert auf den von CheckFirst bereitgestellten Daten f\u00fcr EU DisinfoLab und EDMO Belux und konzentriert sich auf den belgischen Fall. Belgien ist eines der L\u00e4nder, die in dieser betr\u00fcgerischen Kampagne involviert sind. Dabei werden sechs Nachrichtenmedien-Organisationen wie Le Soir und De Standaard imitiert.
