Media Literacy Professionals’ Meeting
Workshop: How can we integrate AI-generated content into information literacy?
Collaborative workshop organised by Média Animation and CSEM as part of EDMO BELUX
On Thursday 24 September 2026, the Conseil supérieur de l’éducation aux médias (CSEM) will host the fifth edition of its Media Literacy Professionals’ Meeting at RTBF (Media Square). The day and all activities will take place in French.
In the afternoon, Média Animation and CSEM will host the workshop “How can we integrate AI-generated content into information literacy?”, organised as part of EDMO BELUX.
Are AI-generated contents changing the way we relate to information? This workshop will take the form of a collaborative laboratory aimed at co-developing educational approaches and enriching media literacy practices in response to these new forms of content.
This workshop will conclude the work carried out by the EDMO BELUX “AI and Disinformation” working group. Over the course of four thematic sessions organised by Média Animation and CSEM, the group brought together media literacy professionals and experts to explore the links between artificial intelligence, disinformation and media literacy. These sessions provided an opportunity to discuss different challenges, identify priorities for action and develop new educational approaches.
This final meeting will build on these discussions and focus more concretely on how they can be translated into educational practices.
