[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Deze nieuwe EDMO BELUX en EU DisinfoLab studie analyseert de stromen van klimaat desinformatie in Belgi\u00eb, waar verschillende websites, academici, journalisten, politici en wetenschappelijke experts opvallend toegeven klimaatsceptici te zijn of, zoals ze zichzelf graag noemen, klimaat “realisten”.<\/p>\n

Het desinformatie landschap weerspiegelt de taalkundige verdeeldheid van het land en wordt in de hand gewerkt door het beperkte aantal fact-checkers. Sommige van de door ons gecontacteerde deskundigen op dit gebied zijn inderdaad pessimistisch over de evolutie van de klimaatdesinformatie in Belgi\u00eb en suggereren zelfs dat het ergste nog moet komen.<\/p>\n

Daarom wil deze studie deze duistere toekomst beteugelen en de negatieve effecten van desinformatie over klimaatverandering in het gebied verzachten. We leggen uit wie de verspreiders van deze misleidingen zijn, maar vooral wat hun gemeenschappelijke strategie\u00ebn en boodschappen zijn. Bijna allemaal zijn ze ‘vertragers’, d.w.z. ze houden maatregelen tegen klimaatverandering en – in het verlengde daarvan – de energietransitie tegen.<\/p>\n
