“Combatting Fake News in the Classroom” is a specific module of AFP’s “Journalists in the Classroom” project, specifically addressing issues of disinformation. It aims to give students (and their teachers) avenues to adopt a critical view of the publications and information that reach them, via specific teaching aids and journalists trained on these issues.
With this in mind, AJP has developed a training course for journalists required to deliver this module. This compulsory training aims to equip journalists and enable them to respond appropriately to students’ questions about information and disinformation.
