Understand the digital practices: what are young people doing online? Results from a quantitative survey, with Martin Culot and Tatiana Debrabandere.
The survey “Generation2024” took place from October to December 2023. More than 3700 primary and secondary school students from French-speaking Belgium responded to a questionnaire addressing different aspects of their digital life. The massive presence of digital technologies fuels many fantasies and alarmist speeches. This survey aims to provide quantitative and comprehensive data on their actual uses. A focus will be placed on access to news and disinformation.
