Date: 1-2 March 2023
Location: Leuven, Belgium

Attention, political scientists! The Politicologenetmaal 2023 Workshop on Digital Political Science will take place on 1-2 June in Leuven, Belgium, to explore how computational data gathering and analysis can enhance our understanding of political behavior, communication, representation, public policy, and the like.

Digitalisation presents both challenges and opportunities for political science. Emerging resources such as digitised documents or social media data hold the promise of new research questions and paradigms, but also pose significant challenges to political science. One major challenge lies in reconciling dominant research questions and methods in the field with these new data types and techniques.

Contribute to demonstrating how classic political science questions can be tackled through computational data gathering and analysis techniques! Submit your abstracts by 28 March here, and don’t miss this opportunity to participate in an engaging and productive discussion!
