During this event on June 15, researchers from imec-SMIT (VUB) will present the (Flemish) results of the annual Digital News Report. This report comprises a worldwide study into news use and trust, simultaneously carried out among thousands of respondents in over forty countries. The Flemish results and analyses of 2021 can still be found on www.nieuwsgebruik.be.  

After the presentation of the key results and trends, we zoom in on a few specific insights in how people in Flanders and beyond deal with and look at news media. Subsequently, all findings will be discussed in an interactive panel discussion with experts from the field.
