Join us on Thursday 28 September at RTL Luxembourg for a round table discussion on media literacy and artificial intelligence!

In support of the fight against disinformation, many tools, projects, and schemes exist to develop critical thinking in our media environment. Since the media education agenda has been dominated by fake news and disinformation, media education tools and campaigns have been flourishing, but how do we understand these tools? How do these tools work, and what can they achieve from an educational point of view? The aim of this morning session is to provide a forum for professionals involved in the fight against disinformation and the challenges that lie ahead.

In practical terms, in the first part of the session (in French) will offer an overview of the counter disinformation tools selected as part of the EDMO BELUX project. Participants will have the opportunity to discover these tools and how they are classified and selected. The second part of the morning will be a plenary session (in French) with Robert Reuter (University of Luxembourg) and a round table (in English) will focus on the issues of artificial intelligence and disinformation, analysing the role of media education.
